Stumble

My friend showed me the coolest thing, and now I'm hooked. It's bad.  It's called Stumble. It's a toolbar you can add to your browser and when you click it, it takes you to random websites based on your interests. There are so many cool things you find when you hit the Stumble button.

So the other day (yesterday) I stumbled (no pun intended) upon this website called oneword.com and there's a word of the day, and you are given 60 seconds to write something based on that word. the word was Sorry, and I came up with:

I'm sorry you went away

I missed you the second you left

I'm sorry

but You're already gone

you left before the o followed the s

I was hanging on the r's and you were

already gone

But I was still sliding from that Y

The idea is to just write, it doesn't matter if it makes sense or not, you just write. Anyway, I really liked it, so I bookmarked the website, and then I continued what I had started to write, and I came up with this:

S-O-R-R-Y

I'm sorry you went away.

I'm sorry,

but you're already

gone

you left before the O followed the S

I was hanging on the R's and you

were already gone.

But I was still sliding from that Y

as you were twisting through that

G. One

just one word drove you away and

I watched from that loop in the

L

as you ran laps around the O,

afraid of what our solitary letters

would unravel.

We sat at each point

of the V

avoiding each other’s I’s.

I was selfish, and you

knew, that.

Because there is no I in

"together forever"

And as I was waiting for you

At the top of the E

You were headed towards
the words that never stop after
a period.

I’m Sorry.

So, yeah, just something I came up with. You should really check out stumble, it's pretty sweet :)
