Poetic Collision

Streaming cognition
and erratic heartbeats
Collide
into a mess of illusion laden
words, that drip slowly down
this alabaster dental floss striped wall.
Smearing themselves across, diagonal,
upside-down.

Eyes glazed over, transfixed on the
symbols that emit from this
anxiety ridden soul. Each phrase
laced with traces of anger, infatuation
anguish, contentment, and a feeling of
incompleteness, yet the words fall so
perfectly.

In a way that makes this paper
complete. Only
