One Song Glory

So I take no credit for this except for my poetic taste in music (tehe) This is a poem created from the first line of the first 20 songs that played from my Zune. The title is the 21st song title. This shockingly makes sense... probably because, like I said, I have a poetic taste in music haha. Enjoy!

One Song Glory

Am I at the point of no improvement?
How long will my prayers seem unanswered?
It feels like forever since I can remember
I dreamed I was missing, you were so scared
I’ve been running around and I gotta slow down
Please tell me you’ll fight this fight
I think we’re going somewhere we’re on to something good here

You changed my mind, said something I had never heard
Playground school bell rings again
Hello you think you’re all alone

It’s a hot one, like seven inches from the midday sun
Listen to the song here in my heart
The smell of your skin lingers on me now

There’s a river underneath us

Will I lose my dignity, will someone care?
I say I love you, you say that’s kind
I linger in the doorway of alarm clock screaming monsters calling my name
Here my dear this is where I shake the nightmare free

Where has that old friend gone, lost in a February song
I never felt nothing in the world like this before.
